Supervision
I'm approved by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (www.oblpct.org) to provide ongoing clinical supervision for registered interns seeking both the Licensed Professional Counselor designation as well as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist designation. I can provide both individual and group supervision.
Supervision has become one of my favorite parts of practice as mentoring professionals during the transition from academic to practice of clinical counseling is full of new energy and hope. It can also be a time of great anxiety for interns as they try to digest the implications of the narratives that each varying client brings to them for guidance. It is this mentorship and best practice guidance that I was so grateful for during my graduate and post-graduate internship. Each and every supervisee should have the opportunity to feel supported, take calculated risks and form their unique identity under the umbrella of an experienced and balanced clinical supervisor.
